To support the launch of the new National Standard for Cycle Training, Cycling England is offering bursaries of £300 per person towards the cost of the special four day training needed to become an Accredited Cycle Trainer.

The bursary scheme is available to Local Authorities and anyone who is interested in being fully competent to coach at this new National Standard.

There are six Instructor Training Providers in the UK:

• Cycle Training UK - London
• Wiltshire County Council
• Life Cycle - Bristol
• Bike Right - Manchester
• York Council
• Darlington County Council

Cycling England is encouraging Instructors and Training Providers to take up these bursaries and spend will be focused on areas lacking in National Standard training.
