The Department of Health has announced £30m funding for nine Healthy Towns across England. A number of these include detailed plans for increasing cycling as part of their approach to tackling obesity.
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) has published guidance on the environment and physical activity with specific proposals relating to cycling.
