Marketing & Promotion
Promotion is often the key to achieving behavioural change and must be a priority alongside measures to make it easier for cyclists to use the road network and have an advantage over private motor traffic.
This section covers the marketing and promotion of the benefits of cycling and opportunities for this activity, to both cyclists and non-cyclists. Promotion encompasses publicity, specific events or campaigns and on-going marketing programmes.
